ENERGY METERS

The range of energy meters Zelec France can meet the different tertiary and industrial applications.

This range goes from simple meters to those allowing a remote reporting of kW / h, or even reassembly several parameters on a GTC via Modbus RS485 communication . Interfaces allow communication with M-bus , Ethernet and KNX standards to other protocols .

Energy meters are used for both single-phase and three-phase networks with or without a neutral.

The RT 2012 requires the establishment of systems to measure or estimate energy consumption in office buildings (tertiary), residential buildings (collective and individual house), educational buildings (school, high school …).

It thus recommends an electric meter for:

Heating

Cooling and central ventilation (air conditioning, VMC)

Domestic hot water production

The lighting

The electrical outlet network

For installations requiring recharging, Zélec France offers a range of energy meters certified MID . This European directive (Measuring Instruments Directive) imposes several criteria to approve these MID meters. MID certificates, with MID energy meter references issued by the English SGS testing laboratory, are available on request.

Smart grids or ”  smart grids  ” in English are networks that require communicating measuring devices, the range of energy meters Zelec France fits in these applications.

The Zélec France energy meters comply with the requirements of IEC 62053-21, IEC62053-31.
